If you are a US licensed Occupational Therapist:
- BOT or BSOT
- Official transcripts must come directly from your degree granting institution or National Student Clearinghouse.
- Copy of US Occupational Therapy license
If you are a Foreign Licensed Occupational Therapist:
- BOT or BSOT
- Official transcript(s) directly from the university, college, or recognized credentialing body
- Copy of Occupational Therapy license or proof of practice
- Academic equivalency documentation from Institute of Foreign Credential Services that states your degree is equivalent to US Bachelors or US Masters in OT. Select General Analysis, and have the report sent directly to the University of Montana.

- Qualifying English proficiency exam scores:
- Duolingo English Test: 120 or better
- TOEFL: 80 or better (internet-based test)
- IELTS: 6.5 or better
- Applicants whose OT education was conducted in English may request a waiver of the English proficiency requirement. To do this, your university must send a letter confirming that your OT program was taught in English.

- Ensure you have an electronic copy of your occupational therapy license and your English proficiency (as required above) to upload during the application process.
- Complete the online application and upload the required materials to the application portal. You can log back into the portal at any time to add your required materials that are not currently available.
- Send official transcripts electronically to the University of Montana – Missoula or email to gradschool@umontana.edu.
All required materials must be uploaded to the application portal or received via email no later than application deadline noted above in Key Dates. Spots are limited and assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
